I hope its as good as everyone keeps saying and that going back to NVidia again will work out

I was waiting for Dabs to get more Inno3d 6800GT's in stock cos they're only £250 inc vat (expected 1-2 weeks) but I think I'm gonna get this now, looks very nice. Although, all the reviews show the card with a reference style heat sink & fan which is a bit odd.
The new BFG custom cooler reputedly doesn't cool as well as the reference one & hence the cards don't overclock quite as well. On the bright side you get a blue pcb now.Originally Posted by th3 mol3
Ah well, I went ahead and ordered one anyway... got a Thermaltake Tsunami on the way as well Can't wait, my first upgrade in ages!
Where did you hear about the custom one not cooling as well as the reference one?
On various US forums where supply of BFG cards is somewhat better than in the UK & they've had the new cooler for a while.Originally Posted by th3 mol3
I did a search for this and quite a few ppl are saying it doesn't cool as well, but also many are saying it cools just fine and is quieter as well. Unless someone can test both cards in the exact same system, we're left guessing. I don't think it matters too much, just get some Arctic Silver on there and it should be ok
