Just about every component retailer. Amazon, Ebuyer, CCL, Aria, DAbs etc.
Most people only have XFX models in stock.
Aria has a VTX3D 280x for £209.40 http://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecials/...roductId=57983
I think one of the directors at overclockers mentioned last week there's a shortage of 280X parts right now hence no discounts on them.
Do we think maybe the change over to the the Tahiti XTL core has caused some issues?

Why not just get a 7970 Ghz? they appear to be readily available, or whats wrong with scan?
If indeed there is a shortage of parts, you have to expect people to charge a premium, thats the way the world works.
Please mind your language and don't swear on the boards - if something is asterisked out by our filter, it's not acceptable.
Also, I would suggest that you think about the attitude you convey in your posts before hitting reply - Kalniel posted a perfectly adequate response in line with your question.
To the OP,it is a bad time to buy the R9 280X cards. Litecoin mining is still profitable on AMD cards, and as a result there is shortage in Europe and the US due to the price hitting almost $43. The secondhand prices of the HD7950,HD7970 and R9 280X have skyrocketed.
