I've just purchased a new graphics card, to replace one which was going faulty but I'm having issues with the drivers on Vista64.
The card itself will only auto-detect as a standard VGA card, and if I manually install the drivers, my only choices in the file are R9 200 series, R9 250 series, R9 260 series, or R9 290/290X
The card works, but it's disconcerting that the drivers aren't identifying it correctly, and it also means I can't auto-update my driver.
The Auto-Detect tool on AMD's website doesn't detect the card, so I'm assuming it's an issue with Vista not being supported correctly
Any suggestions on a better solution? I'd try extracting the Win7 drivers, but the install package is "smart" and prevents you from opening it on Vista
