    Which graphics card for 1080p Gaming?

    Ok so which graphics card should I get for 1080p Gaming.

    r9 270x (possibly xfire at a later date) or R9 280x.

    Even the 270 is great value for 1080P gaming. Uses less juice but still overclocks close to what the 270X can achieve for less cash, you'd need a ~650W PSU for Xfire FYI. The 280X if you can afford it does offer even more oompf and does have more VRAM available, 750W PSU would be needed for dual 280s.

    If you don't have an SSD in your rig then going for the 270 instead of the 280 would allow you to fit one in to the budget. SSDs really do make an amazing difference to boot times and makes the rig feel much snappier.
