which says to me its ram capped on 3 GB NVidia cards
I remember a lot of speculation awhile back that the new consoles will lead to a change in game design due to their large amount of VRAM. Looks like Titanfall is the first to show this trend and it would be interesting to see if other games follow.
Either way, looks like it's a very volatile period to buy a new graphics card...
Or is it just that is doesn't waste any of that expensive vram you paid for?
Pretty much what I've seen, 2560x1600, insane textures and no AA = 3045MB VRAM used....hardly ever moves from that figure as well.

Surely you could equally argue that it has incredibly efficient texture caching? vram usage is a pretty bad measure of actual requirements, unless people are measuring what it is saving/loading from disk?
