GPU brands PNY OR MSI / GTX 770 vs R9 280x

In next couple of weeks I'm getting a new GPU either GTX 770 or 280x, had a look at some different tests people have done and have chosen the 770 not 100% sure tho so if anyone has any comments feel free.

Had a look at some of the different brands on the gtx 770 around £230-£240 .. Looks like its between the MSI or PNY. whats the differences?

Don't quote me on this but I believe that MSI generally use custom pcbs whereas PNY just stick a non-reference cooler over a reference pcb. I would go for MSI purely on the basis that they apply non-reference pcbs and their cooling is better.
