MSI AB Voltage Lock?

I recently acquired a 780 Lightning, partly for the overclocking potential, so have been playing around and seeing what sort of benchmarks I can get.
However, the more recent versions of Afterburner (currently using Beta 19) seem to have the voltage locked. Not sure if it's just the beta or if the non-beta is locked too...

I know some people have hacked AB and unlocked the voltage - Not only are they getting insane benchmarks, but they actually state that they had to hack it.
What I haven't been able to ascertain is *how* they managed to unlock it.

Does anyone know of a legal/semi-legal/permissible-if-I-accept-responsibility-for-borking-my-card method to unlock the voltage?

I'm trying desperately to score above 1650 on Heaven 4!

MSI have some software called Afterburner (herein referred to as AB), which can be used to alter the properties of your graphics card, usually overclocking it.
Until recently, the MSI GTX780 Lightning was able to overclock to 300% of voltage, but AB has recently been locked at 109% to prevent people from cooking their cards.

If it's a software lock an older software version should enable the overvolting, if its a hardware lock a BIOS reflash may get around it.

I understand it was older versions of the Beta that were allowing the additional volting, but the Betas expire automatically and the last two (18 and 19) have been voltage locked.
I already flashed the relevant BIOS on anyway, but AB is software-locking it too. Tried PrecisionX, but that's locked also.

I didn't realise they expired. I have various beta version saved but haven't used it for a while myself.

Neither did I, but it makes sense I suppose, especially if they're introducing aspects that stop you frying your card and RMAing it all the time.

Yeah, I'm slowly trawling all 347 pages, looking for a Newbie-friendly hint.
That's actually where I found Skyn3t's LN2 BIOS, too.
