    gtx 780/ 780ti sli

    Hi

I am considering a getting sli 780s/ 780ti (if i can convince myself its worth it!) in preperation for a 4k monitor or the asus rog swift monitor. I have a FT02 and my question is simply does anybody have this setup and if so how have you found temps/ noise/ performance? I am pretty much set on reference design as my mobo only provides one lane gap between the cards.

    Cheers for any help.

    Regards

    Jason

    Re: gtx 780/ 780ti sli

If i were you Jason, i'd honestly wait for the next line of maxwell cards. Fair enough they've been delayed alos, but in the grand scheme of things it WILL be worth it, moving into 4k gaming. Lets face it, the RoG monitor aint even out yet, so i'd wait and see from people with real world 4k gaming experience have to say. As for them being run for 2560x1440 gaming, they're spot on. I have mine in the same config you mention with the one lane gap between and they run fine, even on heavy games and ultra settings. I have the Evga 780ti superclocked and they are a dream, however, and this pains me, i kind of wish i'd of waited for the next gen cards and stuck to me old 670 ftw 4gb's in sli. As they would have done for now!
