Gigabyte Windforce R9-270X 2GB vs PowerColor HD 7950 3GB PCS+ Edition

From reviews i have read so far ,it seems that these cards are almost the same apart from a slightly less power consumption for the R9 and having 2GB instead of 3GB.Games are pretty cose to depending on your system setup ..

So what i am asking is would it be worth it at all to swap with my 7950 ????

I have been given this so i haven't spent a penny so this or maybe my one will go into my very lucky oldest boy setup

I would just overclock the HD7950 TBH. The R9 270X is a modified HD7870 with Turbo and faster VRAM.

The 270x would just be a down grade IMHO.
