Hey All
The ATI Radeon (9800/pro) has:
Core Clock 380
Mem Clock 680/700
Memory 128/256
Mem Bus 256
while the Nividia (Fx5900/ultra) alternative has:
Core Clock 400
Mem Clock 800/850
Memory 128/256
Mem Bus 256
(Using 128 mem card in example)
as you can see the Nividia option has 20Mhz (Core) and 120Mhz (Mem) advantage over the Radeon.
Basically is the diference in mem and core speeds really that noticable ?
If most games at the moment don't really need speeds like 400/800 then dose the ATI have the best of both worlds ?
Cheers all, Dave
