Only one problem, no graphics cards with HDMI 2.0 in 2015
AMD Radeon Fury X doesn't have HDMI 2.0 support
no 960/970/980 not support HDMI 2.0
980ti 30% stronger than -970 and has NO HDMI 2.0 !
960 / 970 not have Really HDMI 2.0 the data bandwidth 8.16 GBPS and no 18 gbps
look a little history here:
http://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img90/790/6800.png
standard v1.4 out with bandwidth was 5.4GBPS for video and not 10.2 GBPS
why you ask ?
very simple, very weak card processor .
( to work with 18GBPS you need 1.8 times the power
who going to buy video card that take 800w ?
Video card heat will burn the card )
only when we arrived to 28 NM we get to HDMI 1.4 = 8.16 gbps
so how do you want 18 GBPS?
in 28 nm card ?
you can't use DP 1.2 IN hdmi 2.0 PORT because there are differences in power DP1.2 300mhz
hdmi 2.0 600 mhz .
DP 1.3 for 9 months already out and no video card
why you ask ?
again weak video card 28NM
only the next generation 16NM we see DP 1.3
If you can not play UHD Bluray or HDR or Netflix with NVIDIA 960/970/980
what HDCP 2.2 it is ?
what hdmi 2.0 it is ?
you can't have DCI - P3 coloer
NVIDIA data bandwidth 8.16 GB
no THIS card not have HDMI 2.0
Without appropriate Chip .
they not have SiI9777 Chip
http://www.siliconimage.com/Company/...with_HDCP_2_2/
to speak from video card to screen display or Blu-ray is a need to Chip in any device
the chip need Protocol of the HDMI 2.0
ONLY Silicon Image make that chip for HDMI Organization
nvidia 960/970/980 not have SiI9777 Chip
no hdcp2.2
no HDR
no bandwidth 18GBPS
no DCI-P3 COLOER ?
this the card 980TI where the SiI9777 Chip ?
http://www.pcper.com/files/imagecach...VBA9_1_4_l.jpg
yes this very easy to prove
ask in written confirmation from NVIDIA video card that thay have :
SiI9777 Chip on video card
hdcp2.2
HDR
andwidth 18GBPS
DCI-P3 COLOER
i try 3 time from nvidia and no reply !
what they have to hide ?
http://www.anandtech.com/show/8191/n...upport-kind-ofLacking the available bandwidth to fully support 4K@60Hz until the arrival of HDMI 2.0, the latest crop of 4K TVs such as the Sony XBR 55X900A and Samsung UE40HU6900 have implemented what amounts to a lower image quality mode that allows for a 4K@60Hz signal to fit within HDMI 1.4’s 8.16Gbps bandwidth limit.
