My old case and Gigabyte Gtx 980 Ti G1 Gaming.

Hello. I have a question about my case and gpu that i want to buy.
So my case is Cooler Master Centurion 590.

    http://www.coolermaster.com/case/mid...centurion-590/

I want now buy a graphic card Gigabyte Gtx 980 Ti G1 Gaming.

    http://www.gigabyte.com/products/pro...px?pid=5472#ov

Can i plug that card to my case? Airflow will be ok ? thx for advice.
I read somewhere about this card:" hot air is recirculated into the chassis, so ensure you have good front-to-back cooling in your case.

Somebody give a screen that will not fit? It will fit or not?

Should be fine. Put in some intake fans in the front and exhaust fans in the rear and top and you'll be good to go. You also have the options with the side panel for direct GPU cooling. As for dimensions, the G1 is 300mm long so as your picture depicts you will have enough room (323.86mm of available space). Have fun!

The only reason it would pose a problem is the length of the card. Your top picture shows 323.86 mm of space. The card is 300mm long.
You'll have 2.38cm clearance, It will fit.

A tool like PCPartPicker will never be complete and comprehensive. If something is on a compatibility list, there's a strong chance that it will work, but if something isn't that doesn't mean there's a strong chance it won't work. They can't have the relationship between every single card and every single case recorded.

I'd trust manufacturer dimensions primarily, as they are most likely to be correct and give you a strong basis on which to complain if it turns out not to be true.

Re: My old case and Gigabyte Gtx 980 Ti G1 Gaming.

It should be fine as long as you can mount some intake fans in the front and get air circulating past the gpu and out the top/rear of your chassis.

You're all good to go brother, that card is the same length as the gigabyte (300mm).

Re: My old case and Gigabyte Gtx 980 Ti G1 Gaming.

According to the linked page the card is actually 309mm

What your case specs show is that the available space from the back of the case to the back of an installed hard drive is only 285.5mm, whilst the clearance to the hard drive cage is 323.86mm. PC Part Picker will use the first, official figure so will assume that the card won't fit, but if you place the hard drives sensibly you should just be able to squeeze the card in.

Personally, I'd use it as an excuse to buy a new case

Are you sure? All I can find on that link is "Measuring 300mm in length and occupying the best part of three expansion slots"
Haha I agree, I'd get a new case for the occasion

If in doubt upgrade, better airflow, future proofing and almost guaranteed the GPU will fit in it, so why not.

I don't think you'd have to but I would buy a new case. Better airflow for the GPU and I'd also but an aftermarket cooler on that CPU. Nothing fancy.
