    Using DisplayPort instead of HDMI

    My current HP Envy 27 monitor is connected to my Mac Mini via HDMI. It only has one HDMI port, but it does have a DisplayPort.

    I'm looking to build a new Windows PC and the graphics card (which is likely to be a MSI Radeon R9 390) has a DisplayPort output.

    I presume there's no issues in connecting a graphics card via DisplayPort to a monitor. The monitor can run up to 1920x1080 @ 60Hz.
