Question How good will this card be (link)

Hey all, Im skeptical about how good this card is (regarding performance AND actual quality)

    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=154668

I know its not SLI compatible, But that doesn't bother me, What bothers me is the generic 'whitelabel' style of the card...

Im just wondering if its going to be lesser/cheaper/poorer quality..or sevrely crippled in some way?

I know its MSI and OEM only but...well uknow... its a lot of money, so i wanna get it right : - )

    Many thanks

Its only got 12 pipelines. I guess it will perform similar to the Asus V999Gamer Edition, which is apparently pretty good.

Yeah through searching the forum ive seen people link to the leadtek ones on LOW

    This one http://www.lowestonweb.com/Products/...C-95401E9B1D2D

Im still trying to familirise myself with all the latest stuff... And i've always gone ATI, so now im in Nvidia water I'm lost :-0

Is this the one that your talking about? if so I guess its better? and very quick?

(i read the spec about the 16 pipelines etc, and it supports SLI whilst the MSI didn't)

BTW Whilst im here, What do the extra pipelines do?
Sorry for the questions, but hey.. if I dont ask I wont know

    Many thanks

By thye looks of it the one at SCAN might be MSI trying to get rid of the duff 6800gts they had been shiping out with 12 pipelines.

The one at scan will be pretty fast, at lower resolutions there wont be much difference with a fully blown 6800GT imo

But the Id still go for the fu;l blown 6800gt at lowestonweb if you can. Just bear in mind its a dual slot cooler (different to the one in the picture)
