Question I Need Help Having Trouble With Graphics 9600 Pro?

I have just brought a new motherboard a MSI 865PE Neo2 - V and a ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 256mb video card. I am running 512mb of DDR 333 Dual Channel and a 2.4 ghz 400mhz front side bus Celeron(Northwood) and my graphics card is running very poorly. I have had the motherboard tested and have been told it is working perfectly and i have tested the video card in other peoples computers and it seems to work well. I have also tried someone elses ram DDR 400 1 gig and no change when we put a 9800 Pro card in the graphics ran just as bad. Can anyone help me i have run out of ideas the only thing i could think of it being is the CPU?????? I am Confused and need some help trying to figure out a way of fixing the problem????

When you swapped the board, did you reinstall Windows, or just boot it up and keep your fingers crossed?

You say you installed all the drivers; did you make sure the chipset drivers went on first, then the graphics drivers?

Sifty have you loaded all the drivers you need as low 3dmarks sometimes is down to not having the AGP driver installed.

Have you checked what smartgart says about your pc, whether agpx4 or 8 is on, fastwrites on or off e.t.c.

Here's the links to the latest drivers for your pc, check to make sure you have them all installed properly.

    Install the "Intel inf" drivers
    (these are for the motherboard)
    And these too
    C-Media CMI9739A/9761 Software Audio Drivers

    Hope this helps you.

To be honest im stumped what else could be causing the slow down if i think of anything i'll post it
