Is it me or has the quality of EVGA cards been dropping off during the past couple of refreshes?

Going from the GTX 1070 FTW to the RTX 2070 Super XC Gaming.

Ok I know I am comparing an FTW with an SC over different generations, however the FTW in this current generation has an unnecessary in my opinion 2.75/3 slot cooler which is basically scaled up from the 2 slot version using a plastic shroud same as the XC.

The box has Super stickers next to the 2070, obviously the box has been repurposed from the 2070. Nothing in the box apart from the card in a antistatic bag and a small booklet, you don't even get the port covers any more but oddly has a bracket cover?

For the cost of this card I expected more somehow but maybe should of just gone with the FE.

Sorry for the rant, its been bugging me.
