every one keeps screaming dx9, dx9 but only games that seem like they will really use it are doom3 and hl2 but who knows when it will become more standard. it seem like the same will pertain to the amd 64 who cares if its 64bit! there is no software that will currently benfit from it ( yes i know Win Xp 64 is on the horizon ), do games really need 64 bits? Will Ms redo office to be 64 bit? and i doubt gamer developers will run to switch to 64 bits, any how thanks again

no way! im never buying NVidia again, if they have another PR disaster they may go down the pan. much as i love their older cards (my previous one was a GF2 Ti which was beautiful), top dog is now ATI. Get a 9600Pro, they are selling for 100 quid now- bargain.

I myself have a Radeon 9600 Pro but you really do have to overclock it to get the real potential.

However research the card. Some have RAM chips which are acutally rated at 700mhz but at stock are 600mhz so should clock without breaking a sweat. I made the wrong decision on my brand and my ram is maxing out at 680mhz stock.

Tbh AA & AF are such a bonus to the visuals of a game. The ATI cards have coped extremely well with these features where as some of the recent Nvidia offerings have crumbled with them - HL2 benchmarks ne1?
