That depends on how cheeky Nvidia think they can be. There seems to be a lot of anger towards pricing of the 2000 series, going significantly higher would be a big win for AMD.

Doesnt matter what the cost of the new cards is, as long as it drives down the cost of the older ones

Yep, even though the top end cards are going to be #HellaExpensive, they might have to cut the prices on the 2000 series to compete in the value stakes. Much will depend on AMD's Big Navi or whatever they're calling it now.
