RTX 3080 Black screen and YouTube issue.

Currently trying to resolve an issue with my Gaming Trio RTX 3080. Sometime when playing Cold War I would get a black screen and monitor will go to sleep. Only few time I would get YouTube causing my whole computer to freeze but the audio running in the background. I have tried DDU, reinstalled display and GPU drivers, reflashed bios, reinstalled card and windows. Still getting this problem... Any tips on what else could be causing this?

Tried a different display port cable and different port?

+1 to the DP cable, is it the one that came with the card/monitor?

Might be worth checking how you are powering the card, is your PSU powerful enough, are you running 2 8 pin power cables from 2 seperate PCIE sockets on the PSU (i.e. not using a splitter)?

You might want to check if the 8 pin power cables are fully in, especially the ATX Cable; i had a issue before when the pc would just freeze for no reason, found out the ATX cable worked itself slightly loose of the years.

If all else fails, reseat the card and check power. Or I'll be happy to test it

Re: RTX 3080 Black screen and YouTube issue.

Had a similar issue with my gaming X trio. I reseated the GPU and RAM, reinserted the power cable. DDU and reinstalled driver + chipset driver. Finally undervolt it slightly and no issue. Felt like it was either driver or RAM issue.
