As a previous poster said, could a 9800 Pro drive this beast? How is it at interpolation? I've run HL2 at 1600 x 1200 for a while with the setup in my sig, but it wasn't exactly optimal.

(Just dreaming anyway - facing a 50% pay drop to do a PGCE soon, so even 400 notes is out of my league )

i'll find out soon enough, the ti4200 doesn't cope too well with doom 3 on 1600x1200

Ammazing panel+price but i don't like the look of dell monitors. They look kind of cheap to me.

Probably couldn't run some games in 1600x1200 with my system. How bad does IQ drop when you lower the resolution?
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

It doesn't have to. You can run a pixel perfect lower res image with black borders. Scaling performance without borders, though, is always best with resolutions that have 1/4 the screen area and scaled width and height. So something like 1280x1024 doesn't look perfect and 1024x768 is arguably a bit worse.
