    That is true, but my little oil-filled radiator has some advantages:
    1. it's is silent whereas a bunch of GPUs mining would be more like a really bad fan heater.
    2. I can switch it on and off without having to shut it down
    3. and adjust it's output at will without having to remote into the box to change the hashrates etc.


    Plus 2000W (mostly in bursts, so maybe if running 24/7, 1000W would do) is still around £2000+ in GPUs.

    True, my garage heater is only about 300W from a couple of cards, but then I'm only trying to keep the car comfortably above freezing point. The fan noise isn't too bad though if you have decent graphics cards, certainly a nicer noise than the fan heater we have.

    If it was me I would get a good used 1080ti, mainly because they were so amazing and currently crypto miners don't really want them due to energy costs and heat... A 1080ti is a great card for that spec until you do a full pc upgrade... Send some messages on FB or ask people on Ebay what there best price is
