Nah I got a Inno3D GF4 TI4200 AGP4x and it runs well... had it a year and a half now...

Could do with an upgrade, so I'd just save and get a Radeon 9600pro or FX5600Ultra.

quicker and better IQ and not THAT expensive... or just go for the non Pro/Ultra varients.

I dont relaly no anything about this card, are much about any Nvidea cards, but what I do know is , BUY RADEON !
Especially if you are on a tight budget, radeon have the best budget cards !! Dont know how much that nvidia is, but my Radeon 9000 pro works just great on all the top games, cost me £100 when it first came out about a year ago, now only about £60 - £65. That would be my choice.

hmm...no neither the R9000 or the Ti4200 will last very long, im not sure abt the leadtek...check www.neoseeker.com for the reviews...

jus keep looking, im sure u will find something in ur price range...R9600 pro/ti4800/9700np etc etc...

id go for a ti4200 64mb/128mb. u wont get best performance but it will be cheap, second hand ur looking at 25-50, and then these will clock resonably well also, if u can be arsed to do it.

id only recommend a radeon from 9600 and up.. the rest simply dont seem as good as the nvidia cards. i woulndt recommend any of nvidia dx9 cards though, they cost more than atis equivalent and perform worse, from about every benchmark so far.

The 128MB 4200 AGP4x used slightly slower clocks (250/444 vs 250/500) than the other 4200 cards, still better than a 64MB version with faster clocks though and a very capable card. However the last few months haven't been kind to 4200 pricing (for those with them) and you can pick up a 4200-8X 128MB which should have slightly faster clocks for £70ish brand new. 2nd hand you'd be doing good to get £50.

As for the 'upgrade' options there aren't any that are truly worth the money at the moment. GF4TI4800SE are not truly any better than the 4200, the 4800 are way over-priced and many 4200 can get pretty close when o/c'ed anyway. The 9600 and FX5600 are way slower than the 4200 in raw speed and even DX9 and AA+AF don't really save them a whole lot, they'll knock you near enough £100 too. So 9600PRO or FX5600ultra are the two best 'upgrade' options. They offer speed on par with the 4200 but have a few other improvements, most notably DX9 and fast AA+AF (even on high). These cards knock you £130 (ATI) or £150 (nVidia) so it's a lot for simply DX9 and AA+AF esp if you already have a 4200. There are 2 variants of FX5600ultra, the std slower one (just below 9600PRO) and the flipchip model with higher clocks (just above 9600PRO) but they are over-priced and DX9 isn't looking good for GF-FX cards at all. Hold on to that 4200 as it's still a great card, wait for the real mid-range DX9 offerings as they should be much faster and your 4200 won't devalue much at all over the coming months. As for the other options, the Rad9000PRO is a fair bit slower than the old Rad8500LE, in turn slower than 8500 which is still alittle way behind a 4200 even before it's o/c'ed. IMHO, keep a 4200 if you have one, otherwise consider buying one for £70 new or paying a little extra for Rad9600PRO if you want DX9 and supreme AA+AF now.
