Friend at work only gets 14,800 out of his 9800 pro.

    It's a crucial card.

    Is that all???

I'd expect more from such a good card.

    I have a similar setup.

XP2500 @ XP3200, Raddy 9700 pro and an SN41G2. Sadly windows is corrupted from pushing the cpu too far and everything is a mess. I'm scoring 15500 in 3dmark so that score seems about right. That's with no o/c on the graphics card of course.

Well all i have done is set the memory to run at 400mhz no aggressive timings or voltage mods as of yet will try it with aggressive timings now i think.

His PC if I remeber right is:

    A7N8X Deluxe.
    512M of Samsung PC3200
    XP2700

Non of it is overclocked though.

I will check tomorrow what his score is as it's been a while.

3Dmark2001 absolutely CREAMS it over FSB. Running @ DDR440 is gonna give you a MASSIVE performance increase. Especially if that's in sync. It also loves CPU as much as graphics power (whereas 3dmark03 is almost all graphics) so an AMD @ over 2.4ghz is gonna boost the score massively.

Also your graphics card has a massive overclock on it - so that score seems if anything a tad low if not about right.

thats more like it ...keep pushing it...im sure it can do more!? "voltage mods" u dont need voltage mods in the sn45g...u might as well stand on the mobo, in a matrix style boot if ur gonna do a vmod in there

I get close to that high with my GF4ti4600
granted you'd kick my ass in 3dMark2k3 though.

    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=6721489 15,223

    3Ghz P4 vs 3200+ XP
    both dual channel DDR, etc
