Tekheads have them too. Shop around dont go to one place on hearsay, thats foolish.
cpucity.co.uk have one for 380quid.
Got mine from scan for £369 in vat - bargaintastic, oh, and i run on 1280x1024, but with plan to get a dell 20" the next time i can catch them on aria, keep missing the buggers every time they sell them
Heh id hardly call it a bargain, lol but not bad.
And yes you need a new monitor, that res is pathetic for that card.
Ok fair enough, it's a great card but how can you justify spending around £400 on just the graphics card? Some people have more money than sense IMO.

I think they might say "because I can" . Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't, but I've heard worse...
Some people just have different priorities. I can afford to put 2x 7800 gtx SLI with an FX57 and 2Gig ram etc etc. I just choose not to.Originally Posted by Rcb

Some love gaming and messing with PC's, it's their passion/hobby so why not? Tis their cash. And it seems Derthballs got not too bad a return. Well done m8.
Your'e always gonna get the odd "I can p*ss higher than you can" clown now and again (which is very rare at Hexus).
However it would be interesting to see how long a top of the range gfx card will last i.e. when it's impossible to run a game at 1280x1024. Might do a poll/new thread on this.
