Cheap LCD for Sisters Uni Comp?

Sup guys. Iam looking for a cheap LCD, 17".

    The PC will only be:
    XP1700
    ECS K7S5A
    Geforce 2 Ti
    512mb PC2100
    Windows XP Pro SP2

So the video card is old, and has no DVI connector. Want a goodish LCD though, as long as i can use an adapter cable or will one come with the screen?

Anyways, what should i be looking at, don't wanna spend much more than 150quid, or as close to 100 as possible as long as it's not rubbish. Prefer White i think.

Yeha ni thought aria were supposed to be good for LCD's, but looking at the choices there not.

Erm i found this at tekheads, and the specs look good, it looks nice, and it's 150quid, so not the cheapest but not to bad, what you think:

I have the "Dell 17" TFT E173FP Midnight Grey" on the Aria Specials page for £135inc:
    http://www.aria.co.uk/specials.asp
and I think its excellent value for money. I bought it for £200 last year and have had absolutely no problems at all with it. Solid build quailty and looks good too, much nicer than the aria value ones...

You might be better in the FS/T forum, you could prob pick one up for not very much, or dell have one for not much more than that, and you can usually haggle the price a bit if you phone up. Or try somewhere like pcworld, you may be able to haggle the price down there too.

I would go for the LG one.

I run two 17" LG LCD's at work, and they are brilliant.

BTW, the links you posted both link to the same product :-)

If its not a gaming pc youd probably be better with a 24bpp one rather than 18bpp.

    Id get this: http://www.lowestonweb.com/Products/...E-78B5558B5BD1
