    Dual monitor setup

I need a dual monitor setup. Currently, I have 1 15" TFT monitor and a basic graphics card. It is used for business only.

Now, I need another 15" TFT monitor and a graphics card that lets you have a dual monitor setup.

I am not interested in speedy graphics or ultra quality monitor. I just want something in a reasonably low price range that does the job.

Any recommendations for the graphics card and monitor?

    Thanks,

    Jon

For the graphics card I would recommend the xfx 6600gt. Its one of the few mid range cards that come with dual dvi. Anything lower than this usually only comes with 1xVGA and 1xDVI. Its about £109 for the xfx 6600gt 128mb or you could buy the xfx 256mb 6600 for £107 (over at scan), both cards have dual dvi.
Oh and this is under the assumption that you wanted an AGP card.

I don't mind if it is a card with dual output if one is dvi and the other analogue, if that makes any difference to price. The existing monitor has both analogue and dvi input.

If you don't care about 3D performance, Id go for a 9200 or 9600. They will be cheap.

You can still find ones about with dual outputs.

With tfts for the sharpest image its best to go with dvi. but if you dont mind analogue. Evn very cheap 5200's or 9200's come with dvi and vga. So getting a graphics card with dual tft technology is very inexpensive.
