Got my £530 Dell 2405FPW, WooT!!!

lo peeps, just wanted to make quick thread on new mon, many thanks to maherie from dell for hooking me up with such a gr8 deal.

Doesn't look too big in the picture but you can compare it to the 15.4" on the right and 20" on the left. Sitting here infront of it is gonna take some time to get used, tbh 4" more is huge difference since the viewing distance hasn't changed.

Got this baby delivered witin 2 days which was nice, anyone get thier order in b4 the offer ended?

now wheres that blue neon I had

    maherie ROCKS!!

sorry for the poor picture, Sony T7 pretty poor at focusing

Sitting in front of something like that would give anyone square eyes, its huuge. Turn the birghtness up to 100% and you could probably use it as a street lamp!

    Permanently confused

    I've placed my order

I guess a lot of people must've rushed the orders today (since its the last day of the offer, presumably due to the high volume of orders). I was told it might take up to 5 days for delivery, but thats no prob.. I am pretty patient when it comes to waiting. £530 is a lot of money, but my credit card was simply shouting "use me! use me" lol

well I used to play games on my 98pro till it died, not in a major rush but I will start gaming again once I build new system. Atm the 9200 runs CS fine which is most important Not running at 1920x1200 though lol. Can't wait to try out some of the new games on this baby.

Mine arrived on Tuesday. I was too busy watching stuff with it to post

Verdict: It was worth every penny. Granted, £530 is not pocket change, but wow, it is every bit as good as I imagined.. and some! First thing I noticed: its bright. I mean, I remember my Sony Trinitron being bright, but that monitor died after 7 years of use. In fact, it took me 7-10 days for me to get used to the Cornerstone. To be perfectly honest, that monitor didn't blow me away.. even though it was a good deal (also found thanks to the Hexus Bargain forum).
Well, the brightnes is back and I got used to it after an hour of use.
The only disadvantage is that gaming at 1900x1200 is simply not feasible on my Radeon 9700 Pro. But, thats not the monitor's fault

Thanks Paul (Maherie) and Dell for the deal, and toolsong for pointing out the original location of the deal

@Ady168uk: I didn't get the "Mada Mada Dane" part of your sig until recently.. When I started watching PoT
Oh and looks like we have the same monitor and mouse/keyboard set

Lol, yea. This one went under the radar for me. I didn't think that something about Tennis would be interesting. But I gave in recently since I am kinda free. And it is good

On a side note, is there a way to adjust the height of the monitor stand?

ya there is a button near the back of the base, just press it in and adjust to the height you want.
