I just wanted to check if there was anything wrong (spec or personal experience wise) with this here 17" TFT monitor.
Note: I will be playing games on it.

god, thats a nice looking monitor
T'is a bit sexy yeah.
ive got the same one only in a different colour and its good for me
Looks good, and is a nice spec.. BUT doesn't seem to have a DVI input.. which would be a tad annoying personally.. but it's whether you would want this to be honest. Guess it's more personal preference and depends whether your Graphics card has DVI out..
It's got both DVI and VGA out. Are there any advantages of using DVI?
EDIT: I've just read DVI is better for digital reasons... hmmmm...

I've got the 19" version, and it's spot on.
As for DVI, depends who you speak to. Some say DVI is far sharper than analogue, but otehrs will say that the analogue coverters are that good now, you won't notice the difference.
I could perhaps stretch to this if it'd be worth it... although why I'd need USB in my monitor is beyond me...
For £210, you could get this nice 19" with DVIOriginally Posted by NightshadowUK

The monitor that link points to is only £180 + shippingOriginally Posted by DeludedGuy
Yeah but that monitor doesn't have anywhere near the image quality, the Hundai has 700:1 and 300 brightness, much higher than the Neovo. The Hyundai is also waaay faster at 3ms. I like the look of that Hyundai Q70, may get that myself...

It might be just me, but I cant stand looking at a 1280x1024 res on a 17" monitor.
Once you have a 19" tft, you wont go back to 17", believe me.Originally Posted by McMav
I'm the opposite of you - I can't stand using 1280x1024 on a 19" TFT. It looks more pixellated(the primary disadvantage of any TFT) and yes, it's bigger but if I was that bothered by size I'd put large fonts on.
1280x1024 is just about the perfect resolution for a 17" TFT in my experience. Anyway, I'd just as soon spend the extra on a better 17" TFT than a 19" screen.
That's because the dot-pitch on most 19" TFTs is bigger than that of a 17".Originally Posted by TinnionA
