The perfect Dual headed monitor make/model - discuss

    Hello all,

I'm currently using 2xdell 20fp01's in a dual headed configuration.

I find these monitors very good because of

    a.) The good resolution
b.) the DVI and VGA connection
c.) the USB hub and number of ports on board.
d.) the quite thin bezel around the screens making the boarder line down the middle when they are joined up very good.

What are peoples opinion of the best option for a dual head display - 19'' or 20''

I have a choice of buying 2 new monitors for someone else to use as "standalones" or giving them my 2 dells and looking at something just as good or better suited to dual head.

Personally I scrapped my Dual Monitors and went for a single 24" Widescreen.

that is something I have considered for this dilema, however the resolution of the say 24'' monitors doesn't present as much working surface area as say 2 x 20''s

I thought about the big mac 30'' screen which to be honest would be PERFECT for me as a big surface area and a very good high resolution gives an awful lot of surface area, however a normal PC doesn't seem to be able to drive it at its max resolution, you appear to need a mac (I don't understand why) to drive it at its max resolution.
