    Looking for a TFT

Due to my desk being really cramped, and their not being enough space in my room to get a bigger desk, I reckon its time to go for a TFT. My budget is around £250, so the choices are:-
    • Go for a mid range to top end 15"er, or
    • Go for a cheap 17"

I would of course want a low response time (Is 16ms still the fastest??), but thats about it. Opinions please

I'd say stick with the 15" - Especially as you are on a budget! Whats better? A 15" TFT with good response times - or a low end 17" with bad response times.

I think dabs do some good 'value' TFT's

I was asking about the 17" TFT's as some people may know some 17" ones with fast response times and be near (<£25 away) my budget. I think a 17" is too big to fit on my desk with keyboard and mouse anyway

You're not going to get a good panel with ~16ms response time at that budget, that would be up around the £300 mark, although having said that I have just found this at £280..

Not sure about Benq though (Acer isn't it?)

Very nice find mate, gonna check for a few reviews first, but I could stretch to that dependant on the reviews. There is also the Benq 557S here which is 15" and also is 16ms. Will check for reviews first though
