Dont worry mate, you wont be dissapointed, 2005fpw roxors.

I think at the moment still the 2005fpw is the best value for money.

the 3007wfp is ridiculously expensive, but why do i want it so damn bad!!!

The Dell 3007 is a fantastic Monitor with that resolution but the price is
a bit to high, I think I'll wait for the Dell 2407 and see the difference in
    price and connections

P.S. This can be a silly question, but what are Coupons?

You mean like the Coupon codes you seen on some retail sited like dell? they are just money off voucher codes, the US call them coupons.

I looked on the dell website earlier and that review for the screen, and each of them say that the 3007 requires dual DVI (white connector).

I have an XFX 7800GT Extreme, and looking at the back of the case, there is two DVI connections, which are white in colour.

Does this mean that my gfx card will support this monitor?

Im sure that there are other people with questions like this.

    Its not Dual DVI connection

its Dual LINK which is a way to get the resolutions - its a single connection

Ok, i think i get you, but will my 7800gt be able to drive this monitor at that resolution.

I know for sure that 3d is going to be impossible at that res, but will it support that dual link dvi?

You'll need a Quadro card or something similar to drive that monitor at native. It's not really made for gaming at that res.

So what your saying is that you need a quadro gfx card whatever you use this monitor for. Seems a bit useless really, dell arent going to sell a lot of these.

I looked on the dell website and they seem to be matching the monitor with either a 7800gt or 7800gtx, so im guessing that ill be able to.

7800 GT has one dual-link port (the primary one, nearest the side you screw to the case) and can drive the new Dell just fine.

t_aitch, your card can therefore keep the display happy. Whether or not it can game at that res is something else, though
