hmm, i would be on the leary side of things.... its recomended you have a PCI gfx card kicking about spare in case...

although saying that i would trust omega when it comes to these kinds of things...

I think the 9700 bios is really for people that want to softmod thier 9500 though... I could be wrong though

i got the softmod driver for 9700 - 9800, gives a notable difference which is nice

but im warey of the bios cos thats a lil harder to sort if i short it x-)

hmmm, if you had a PCI gfx it would be no pressure going for the update

If you effectivly have a 9800 atm, do you really need to update the bios though ?

i seem to have issues with my agp driver,

im current running a pci to pci bridge instead of a agp2.0/3.0.

the latest VIA4in1 stop my 3d aps. working

is this a know issue ?
