    Nvidia Fan control software needed

    Hello guys

I have just installed one of my old graphics cards *nvidia 6600gt agp card into my wife's aopen small form case (basically same as shuttle)

Basically all works fine ok, but have noticed that the gpu fan seems to run constant at 100% speed which is quite loud as it sits on our shared desk

I use atitool for my ati card fan control and is nice and easy to use, any recommendations for best nvidia based tools i can use? I see lots of different ones but not sure whats the best.

    cheers

Rivatuner has the ability to set different fan speeds.

I just tried using the nvidia contol panel - gpu settings, and when i tried using the fan speed adjust - click apply, the speed just goes back to 100%

To get to the fan controller page you need to

Press the small button next to customise in the driver part of the window. This should open up a new window and the second tab should be the fan speed as percentages.
