    NTFS4DOS with USB?

    Hi

I'm after a utility along the lines of NTFS4DOS that I can boot from, that can read the NTFS file system off a hard drive and support USB pen drives that I can then copy files to (as opposed to just an internal floppy drive). Any ideas anyone? :S

There is definately a tool that will do that on Hiren´s Boot CD. But I can´t remember what it was called.

A few weeks ago I recovered a lot of files off my brothers borked laptop, from ntfs drive to USB external drive.

The external drive needed to be connected before the computer booted, but was able to work fine and be read.

I can´t remember which tool was used, but there are several to experiment with.

I just used xcopy to move everything to the external drive, and it worked fine.

Oh there's nothing wrong with that - or UBCD4WIN, but I was just wondering if there was a quicker option
