2 AOL problems....

Ok first of all something a little easier,

After booting up, when i get to the desktop on my mums PC a AOL programefiles folder keeps deciding to appear when i get to the desktop, to a huge problem but its really annoying. i tried MSCONFIG but im not sure its there. its hard to tell whats what

And the other problem is that AOL wont actually open as a programme. (this was before the folder, that appeared after a AOL reinstall) I click the shortcut and nothing happens, i have tried start tabs and none work.

I have uninstalled it and then reinstalled twice on 2 different AOL CD's. I know its a bad programe but my parents are familiar with it and its what they use to acces emails on thier computer. Problem is uninstalling it fully is a difficult thing as there are ties everywhere, but i used add/remove and then deleted any other remaining files i could find on HDD. but it still doesnt work on reinstall.

Silly question but its not in the startup folder in your program list ???

if you meant is it in start>all programs> yes it is

ok i sorted the folder popping up on startup, and now i just got to figure out why the program wont launch
