This morning, i've come onto my mums computer to browse the internet, and its started coming up with warnings about spyware. So i've done 2 full scans with S&D and Ad-Aware. They came up with a few things and got rid. I did a full system scan with Norton as well and it came up with a problem, and told me in order to fix it i have to restart. So i did. Now when i log back on, it keeps coming up with

"Windows Explorer Has Stopped Working" It allows me to restart, after i have done that it pops up again after a few seconds and keeps repeating the process.

What was the last program you put on your PC?

Try using safe mode? System restore?

I've no idea what was last put on it. Few people use the computer. And i've tried safe mode it comes up the same, and system restore isnt working

You need to ask if anything was put on, then make sure you create different accounts for different users and make sure yours is the only one with an administrator account.

Boot from the Vista install disk & do a system repair.

Managed to get it sorted now. It wasnt letting me system restore. But after i had managed to do a scan of ad-aware, it came up with 187 new objects. After that it allowed me to restore.
