    Boot Issues

I've recently, and quite randomly begun to have problems with regards to booting my PC.
In fact it seems that it was after installing an iTunes update for my PC (iTunes itself being a problem for Vista in general as i have to delete some sort of registry file so that my disk drive works after intalling it)

Now, when i boot, either it gets past the HDD and Disk Drive recognition phase (Or whatever you call it) and stalls on a completely blank screen with just one flashing white dot in the top left or it gets past that and does the windows loading bit with the green bar and then just blue screens.

In order to get it to work i have to do all sorts of F6 and F8 business to get it to boot after frequent restarts and shut-downs.
It is very irritating and i actually did a system restore to before the install of the new iTunes version and htat seemingly did nothing.

And help would be greatly appreciated.

I try that by holding F8 (which is how I assume you do it) and it goes to a screen asking which device to boot first to which i select the HDD then it boots up correctly.
But if i don't do it via the first boot menu then it just goes from BIOS to a black screen with a flashing white command line thingy in the top left and then stays there for probably ever :S

You need to go into the BIOS and set up the correct Boot Device priority.
