strange taskbar behaviour: open apps appear twice??

just started happening recently. Have quick launch toolbar and Language bar active. now see all open apps twice, as 2 separate toolbars. There is a separator between the 2 toolbars. Makes no difference whether taskbar locked or not.

Windows does do this reguraly, all you have to do is restart your computer and it goes back to normal!

you could running a windows repair but seems a little overkill for the problem.

Depending on how recently, try a System Restore.
