which is better? Samsung or LG panel

Im thinking of getting a 22" TFT but wanted to find out whether Samsung or LG panels are better or if they're both good?

Sadly its not as simple as going on the manufacturer, as they all use different panel types.

LG have joint ownership of ane of the largest mfr plants with Philips and supply quite a few OEM makes, but as the previous poster said, it isn't just the panel, the drive electronics count too, epsecailly for bandwidth and latency. Depends on your application though - and if you think you would notice any differences bertween the two. Personally I'd compare specs then go for the LG! (Or failing that, the cheapest)

I was looking at the Cibox C2201 (LG panel) or Daewoo (Samsung Panel). They both seem to be good although the Cibox has HDCP.

However, I alsready have a 17" Lucoms which is a Daewoo and has the same design. [Sparse] Reviews indicate these are both good capable units.

I'll be looking at mainly gaming and movies.

The Cibox is on today only for another couple of hours @ £156, which is a bargain price!

Not sure if I should go for it ??

Not quite as simple as stated before. But personally I am a fan of Samsung stuff.
