How do I open up a Toshiba Equium?

I am a Dell man usually, so I have no idea about Toshibas. I have a suspicion that the fan needs either cleaning or replacing. I assume that there's a top panel that flips off, but I don't want to start levering plastic bits off without knowing for sure.

cant give you an exact guide, but all the screwes out the bottom, then the keyboard out. it should start falling apart once you get the screws out under the keyboard

Just to let you know. I opened it up and had a look around without any problem. It was a bit fluffy inside so I cleaned it out and reassembled it without hassle and the problem hasn't reoccurred. Thanks again.

For the interest of anyone idly reading this, you can get to both fans through the keyboard, so you don't need to open the bottom, only whip off the top plate, unscrew the keyboard screws and Bob's your mother's brother.
