Sharp Aquos LC-32P50E

Hi folks,

I have just built an HTPC (full specs below) and am running from the onboard HDMI port to HDMI on my LCD, My problem is that if I switch from HDMI to Scart on the LCD, then try to go back to the HDMI port to view the HTPC, I get a blank screen and have to reset the PC every time, I know for a fact that the PC is still running...

Have obviously tried powering off LCD and back on again, have also looked through all the LCD settings but can find nothing that helps with this...

Have also tried a few things on the PC such as switching off all power save options and screen savers... Also had a look through BIOS for and Repost display options but nothing...

All signs point to the LCD... If anyone has any ideas on this or has experienced similar, please let me know.

I have been on to sharp but their response was to simply send an engineer to take a look with an initial call out charge of £140, so told them to poke off.

Sorry to bump, has anyone got any ideas what so ever... This is approx my fourth forum that I have posted this on... Have had no response from any of the other three... Don't let me down ...

if you check the abit forum here & also on abit USA forum I think that you may find some similar reports, can't remember if there was a resolution.
