    Normal PSU in Shutlle

Shuttle PSU has given up the ghost, will be replacing shuttle in a few months.
Is it possible to just run a cheapo atx psu out the back of the shuttle rather than spending £65 on a shuttle replacement psu?
ie. is there anything i should be aware of?

doubt it should be a problem as long as the connectors are wired up correctly (ie, not dell style)

just need to dremel a hole in its backside

You would have no probs using an exterior psu so long as it is in a safe position and insulated but would advise not using a cheapo psu as if it does give up the ghost it could take out the shuttle, I think enermax make a replacement psu for your machine so suggest a google search for it
