Try to isolate what's causing it
Are you playing the music from the hard disk, or cd/dvd?
Have you tried playing different music tracks, a different location, i.e from hard disk instead of cd/dvd.
Does it only crash if your playing music, or say browsing the internet etc causes it to crash after 30 seconds too?
Go into control panel, adminstrative tools then open up event viewer, see if any errors are reported.
It occurs when i play music stored on my pc.
does it crash when you do anything else? is your pc overclocked?
If you happen to have a Creative soundcard installed, try removing it and go back to onboard sound and see if it helps.
