    Power Supply Problem??

Since building my system I have noticed two problems that happen on a cold boot:

    1. When I press the power button, the system will start up for 1 second. Then power down for a further second and then power up again and resume POST test and XP startup. All of this takes place in about 3 seconds.

    2. Just before XP startup (XP logo sequence), my monitor will go blank and then go into standby mode.

I have checked the power supply readings and they are as follows:

    VCORE: 1.23v
    3.3V: 3.31v
    5V: 4.96v
    12v: 12.09v

The readings look fine to me. Any ideas or advice appreciated on this problem.

    Regards,
    RM

    1. Is the P35 double post problem. Nothing to worry about, it doesn't do any harm it's just a little bit annoying. Abit have done a bios update to fix it. Not sure if there is one for your ASUS.

    2. I'm no so sure about. Does it boot OK and then come back on?

    Re: Power Supply Problem??

I have updated to the latest ASUS bios, so it doesn't look like asus have done a fix for the 'double post' problem yet.

On the graphics issue, all i can do is press the restart button and windows will load normally again. Not to sure what is happening here.
