    PSU & Graphics Card

Hey guys, i have a earthwatts 380 PSU in my machine...at the moment i have a 8600GT - whats the best type of card (performance wise) the psu could run...or is it pretty low?

i want to upgrade the card, but im really not sure...the psu has a 6 pin pci plug.

i have like 2 HD's, a FD, 1 optical, 4 fans, 2gb, a q6600 (no overclocking on cpu or gpu) taking power off the supply.

im feeling tempted when i see these 8800GT's at around 150. or a 8800GTS?

    Re: PSU & Graphics Card

the 8800gts are great but i doubt very much ur power supply could run it...i think they need a 500ish watt minimum...but you can pick up that kinda power supply pretty cheap
