Flashing Cursor On Vista Install

Well i just upgraded from an IDE to a SATA hard drive (XP was on the old IDE drive) with having to change the drive from a dynamic to a basic drive (must have had XP on the previous owners PC?).
Got everything set up, Vista loads, runs, installs, reboots.
Flashing cursor comes up?
Don't really know what the problem is, have already tried re-formatting the drive and installing it again but no joy.

Setup;
Asus A8V-VM
7600GT
2 x 1Gb G-Skill Ram
AMD Athlon X2 4600
Western Digital SATA 250GB

Can close this duhhhh me forgot to change the Bios to RAID from IDE lol
