hannspree 37" JT and hd3450

i have this combination in vista 32 linked with a dvi to hdmi cable. i installed the ati drivers and everything seems fine. when i go to set the resolution i dont get the option of 1366 x 768 (native for hannspree) if i set to 1900 x 1200 it only covers a quarter of the screen.

if i go into media centre and run through the settings i can select 1366 x 768 and everythign is fine, however this is not selectable in windows.

any ideas how to fix this?

I think you need to look for this screen in your ATi Drivers

the screen just displays as generic lcd, how do you mean?

there should be a hdtv settings in ati control centre that enables you to force 1366 x 768

thats what i have to do anyway.

displays manager > force...
