What to do with old Laptop Hard drives

Hey everybody, got another question for your collective minds.

I have 2 old laptop hard drives that are doing nothing just now, as wondering if there was a way I could caddy them or just find a way to plug a usb cable into them and turn them into ultra portable external drives.

I just don't have a clue as to how to do this.

make sure you measure drives since some of them dont support bigger drivers 12.5mm ones

If your laptop drives are quieter than your 3.5" hard drives you could use one as your OS drive for a less noisy PC (assuming you configure your power management to power off your other drives when they're not in use).
