    Re: Which Mouse Mat

using a steelpad right now, i like cloth mats for the resistance. the mat itself was maybe a bit too slow, but i got used to it so it's not so bad. If the quality of the everglide you've posted is the same as the normal version then the edges will start to fray very quickly. my flatmate has one and got it not too long after me and it's looking alot worse for wear than mine. i was considering the mantis control over the speed, but have heard good things about both.

    Re: Which Mouse Mat

I have the regular Titan Monster mat (black unaffiliated one), solid cloth pad, I don't agree with its fragility unless you don't take care of it. Mine is nearly 2 years old the edges have not even begun to frail despite 1 side being next to a rough textured wall.

Razer Mantis Speed Mat out of those three
It's a decent size... it has a good surface, and since it can be rolled up, it's useful for taking to LANs as well

No, this - http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?WebProductId=547057 . Those larger ones are far, far too big for me and it was only a tenner from Play (price has gone up now).

    Re: Which Mouse Mat

Apparently the Mantis and the titan are the same mat, Everglide make the mantis for Razor.

    Review explaining it

I have since bought the Mantis and am awaiting delivery.
