MicroSDHC to MS PRO DUO Adaptor

Anyone know if such thing is available? Had a little look about but I can't confirm if what I need will actually work.

Basically, I have a 8GB Sandisk MicroSDHC that I use in my HTC Kaiser, but I also want to use it in my PSP without having to buy a new Memory Stick PRO DUO card... so is an adaptor able to do this and save me some cash?

Well, this adapter will let you use the card in a PSP

However, it ends up as a standard MemoryStick Duo Pro, does not come with MagicGate security, so there is a limit to what you can use it for on a PSP.

Cool, thanks. Spent ages looking around and couldn't see one, this one seems to advise that it can be used for a PSP, so hopefully should be OK.

What won't work if MagicGate isn't on the memory stick? I only want to watch video and listen to music on my PSP.

If that's the only loss, I won't mind at all. Can anyone confirm this?

For video and music you should be ok as far as i know.

I think you need MagicGate for game saves as well.

That's fine, if I want to play games I can install my 512MB Memory Stick PRO DUO MagicGate card for that.

I'll give it a go.

You cant save games, no service mode, in most cases the read / write is much slower even with fast SD cards and the PSP will often crash if you use the write lock on the SD card (understandable really).

For films / pictures etc they are fine

Agent, you are a star! I'm ordering that dual card one tonight!

That way, later on I can pick up another £20 8GB card and have 16GB storage on my PSP, that should hold a fair amount of video for me to watch!
